How to get to IUF

  • From the forecourt of the main station: platform 7, tram line 707, direction D-Uni Nord/Christoph (University), stop Auf'm Hennekamp, turn left, approx. 5 minutes walk to the IUF.
  • Alternative from main station: S-Bahn (interurban train) S1 direction Solingen or S6 direction Köln-Nippes, stop Volksgarten S, use exit Kruppstrasse, turn right and walk approx. 10 minutes.
  • Other lines within Düsseldorf leading to IUF: 706 (tram; stop Redinghovenstraße; opposite IUF) as well as U72 and U73 (subway; stop Auf'm Hennekamp).

Currently, the parking lot is only accessible via Fruchtstraße.

To get there, simply drive to the end of Fruchtstraße.

Please drive very slowly (pedestrians, school route, retirement home).

  • If you take a taxi, it takes about 20 minutes from the airport to IUF.
  • Alternatively, S-Bahn (interurban train) 11 direction Bergisch-Gladbach or Regionalexpress to Düsseldorf Hbf (main station). Then continue as described under "By train".
