Association for the Promotion of Research in Environmental Medicine (GFUF)

IUF is supported by the Association for the Promotion of Research in Environmental Medicine in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The aim of GFUF is the promotion of science and research, through research in environmental medicine, in particular in epidemiological, toxicological, immunological and cell biological relevant fields including molecular ageing research and risk assessment with regards to human health.

The Association functions as sole shareholder of IUF – Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine.

Chairman

Chairman is Prof. Dr. Stefan Meuer (Heidelberg University Hospital).

Vice chairman is Prof. Dr. Hans F. Merk (formerly Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology, Universitätsklinikum RWTH Aachen and Chair of Dermatology and Venereology, RWTH Aachen).
